C. Tucker Barrie, Ph.D., P. Geo.

Dr. Barrie is a research and consulting economic geologist based in Ottawa, Ontario, and the author of 35 published papers on various mineral deposit types and their host rocks, notably volcanogenic massive sulphide, porphyry copper-gold, magmatic nickel-copper sulphide and magmatic PGE deposits. He has a Ph.D. in economic geology from the University of Toronto (1990), and has since worked on a variety of hydrothermal and magmatic mineral deposit types. Dr. Barrie is a fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and an adjunct professor at Laurentian University.
